REMINDER: Sununu is Profiting off of Trump’s War with Iran
After a new report from the Senate Joint Economic Committee - Minority showed Donald Trump “saw his wealth go up by as much as $15.5 million” off of his war with Iran through his oil and gas investments while Americans are paying more for gas, here’s a reminder that Trump-endorsed U.S. Senate candidate John Sununu’s “investments in gas ballooned by about 24%” while he “has been defending” Trump’s highly unpopular war.
Sununu — who accepted over $80,000 in campaign contributions from energy executives — has been “cheering on” Trump’s war and claimed it has “achieved success,” even though the average American family has paid an extra $604 for gas due to the war.
According to the latest St. Anselm College poll, 60% of New Hampshire voters would be “less likely” to support a Republican candidate this fall if Trump’s war with Iran continues — a scary sign for potential Republican nominee Sununu as this war drags on and Granite State gas prices remain high.
